STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE

STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE directs procedures of production and the production of procedures. Pragmatics are systematically applied to objects and activities of use, disuse, and nonuse alike, to both the real and the figmental, the practical and theoretical.

STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE designates mundanity as a space for exploration and experimentation. It investigates art and what occurs before and after as a state of encounter. It posits architecture as a space of possibility rather than as a spatial statement.

Experiments of STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE manifest through the application of the vocabulary of everyday life to such practices as object-making, garment fabrication, gardening, writing, and band practice. Performance is implemented as action, interaction, intervention, and documentation. Built and unbuilt landscapes and their cultural relevance are subjects for examination, projection, and exploration. Proposals, (by)products, and actions analyze their social contexts and spatial environments.
